Oral electrolyte and buffering powder for calves with scour. This high SID solution contains electrolytes and buffers that efficiently correct acidosis and dehydration in calves with diarrhoea.
One box of 6 pots meets requirements for 12 doses for calves with mild diarrhoea and acidosis or 6 doses of calves with severe diarrhoea and acidosis. Full treatment regime requires 2 doses per calf, administered 12 hours apart.

Description
Vitalife for Calves® is a complementary dietetic feed used to stabilise water and electrolyte balance. Its intended use is in case of risk of, during periods of, or recovery from digestive disturbance (diarrhoea). It is recommended that advice from a veterinarian be sought before use and before extending the period of use. Store in a cool dry place.
For oral administration, between milk feedings. Drinking water must be freely available to the animal at all times. Simultaneous feeding of milk should be avoided in animals with abomasum. Pre-made solutions should be consumed within 12 hours, upon restirring.

Instructions for use
The updated protocol can now be tailored to the severity of the disease. For calves with scour that are still able to drink, you can mix Vitalife with milk, and for those severe scour cases Vitalife can be mixed with water and given orally to the calf.
